FTP messed up

The FTP to my site is working either very very slowly or not working at all...

I've tried out other sites and it's working fine and surfing is fine... Just the FTP. Please assist.

It still has a problem... Only when transferring though... It always starts at 16kbps, goes down to 5kbps, 4kbps, then 0... and hops up to 2kbps... then 0 again... and repeats... I can't get anything done at all... =(

When I'm changing folders, it's working fine.

I uploaded a 10MB file just now and it stayed steady at my max upload speed. What FTP client are you using? Can you try another client?

I'll try that and see... I was using FlashFXP. It works properly when I was downloading files from another FTP address.

EDIT: I tried using CuteFTP and it won't even work... T_T

EDIT2: The same thing that happened to FlashFXP also happened to SmartFTP. here's a printscreen of the transfer.

For some resson CuteFTP ways does stuff like that for me also. But I use SmartFTP and it works great.

psh WS_FTP is soo better...

and some ftp clients havea built-in max, and if you were downloading something onto your computer at the time you could really slow down your upload speed.
