FTP Problem

I try to log in the FTP and its all fine, but the directories dont load. It says:

When I tried IE, i got this

An error occurred opening that folder on the FTP Server. Make sure you have premission to access that folder.

Details:
200 Type set to A
200 PORT command successful
425 Unable to build data connection: Connection timed out

Uhhh, its not wise to post off topic like that, but who am I to tell you what not to do . Yes you have to put a banner code on your website, the banner varies in size depending on the package. I believe the the codes can be found at x10hosting.com/ads.php

I am also having a problem with my ftp. It says no server connection when i try to log on, so just want to know if its because of this server problem u said u were having. But my site and cPanel work.

I cannot connect to my ftp at all! The error returned is
! Connection failed. (10061: 500 Connection refused (Winsock error #10061))
I could access ftp yesterday and around 5pm PST it started stating this.

I suggest people to use Cute ftp client instead of Smart ftp. I had never have any trouble using Cute ftp client before and its more powerful and easy to use than the others.
