Ftp Problem

My ftp isn't working. I don't think it is the information, I think it has to do something with my computer, because I have tried ftp with many sites and it hasn't worked.

Information I typed in:
Host: ftp.wow.x10hosting.com
Login: wow
Password: ********
Port: 21

I have Norton's Antivirus, but could that stop me or is there anything that could disable me from connecting, because thats always the error.

have you tried without have ftp before wow.x10hosting.com? what application are you using..

I used to have it working, but then stopped with websites for a good while. Now I can't get it to work. I have tried both CoreFTP and StaffFTP. I just uninstalled Norton also, so that wasn't the problem.

it cannot be norton... try ftp.microsoft.com... the FTP server is up...

Hmm thats all I needed was to put that in as host correct?
If so, I couldn't connect.
