my account was just created and am having some problems with the FTP aswell

There's seems to have some problem with the ftp uploading which happens for a about 2 to 3 days. Now its fixed.

At least mine is now fixed I wonder will yours be fixed automatically because mine seems to fixed it automatically.

Hope so as my fingers gonna kill me if i have to upload all the files by the HTTP uploader

P.S i have just created my account and already there are lots of files in my FTP, is it safe to delete them?

You're better off leaving the default files... especially mail, public_html, www and tmp. You should leave them all.

just creat a subdomain and upload you files there. its the safest
