FTP Trouble: Client can connect but cannot put files

Hi,

I can connect to my ftp site (travelogues.x10hosting.com) on lotus but I can not put files or create directories. All server status light are green for lotus.

Using cpanel and can see the permission on my ftp directory are 0755 but I cannot change them nor can I transfer a file into this directory using the cpanel File Manager v3.

This problem seems to have started in June possibly are a result of the server changes.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

Yes the ftp clients says:

553-Can't open that file: Permission denied
553 Rename/move failure: No such file or directory

I think that the problem is that when the new server lotus was setup and my files restored, the files and directories belong to someone else. Creating a new ftp user has solved the problem for now.
