FTP Upload Error on Boru

When trying to upload files to my web site on the Boru server I get the following FTP error from FileZilla

Code: 
Command:    STOR file.php
Response:    553 Can't open that file: Read-only file system
Error:    Critical file transfer error
How do I fix this problem?

.... It seems to be working now.
