ftp upload error

im having problem uploading files through ftp to my account..
small files are working nicely through cpanel, but when i use ftp client with the setttings provided through cpanel, i get a connection error and am not able to upload.
there are a few threads with similar problem but no solution.....

you must download filezilla ftp client this can work for you and tell me waht info you put on ftp client i mean host etc....

In your FTP client enter following info.
host : arpitsofts.pcriot.com ( i.e your site URL)
Servertype : FTP
User : your cpanel username
password : Your cpanel password.
