To access the ftp of your domain

Then
url --> ftp.yourdomain.com
username --> your_cpanel username
password --> your cpanel_password

I recommend the Filezilla FTP client It is free.

If you are using sitegenwiz inbuilt file uploading utility then in place of webfolder you have to give /public_html

In place of server ftp.yourdomainname.com

Ex:-

domain names means like aardys.x10hosting.com like that.... What ever you given when you registered the hosting account.

In CPanel the FTP user accounts tool is next to the file upload tool.

Just to point out your co.cc domain hasn't propagated the switch to Stoli yet (if you did set up the domain properly at co.cc), so your FTP information is below. The site address will change when your domain name finishes propagating.

FTP address is: ftp://stoli.x10hosting.com
Username: aardys
Password is whatever you set it to.

But none the less, thank you for trying out x10Hosting. If you wish to still use your account feel free to use it. If you don't want it, an account manager can delete it.

hate to complain as it was free hosting , but why on earth didnt the site give me this information in a simple way , i spent hours trying to get this to work , and then you tell me this is the ftp addy etc , there was no way i could have found those settings on the cpanel etc . this im sure would put off anyone including me that was thinking of the paid version .
as for people saying upload files this way and that way , thats ok if you know about website building etc, i used sitegenwiz so its easy , all i needed was the web space and the ftp settings to send them to .
semmed all very comlicated here , just saying it as i see it , so you know how a stone cold newbie sees it , im sure others have also been boggled .
anyway , many thanks for your help here

If you check the Cpanel properly. There is a FTP accounts in Files section. Once you enter into it. You have to read it if you are the person first time using it, Right In the starting it says how to use the FTP

There is a video tutorial how to use FTP. But you didn't want to watch it. And just saying that no body helps. Great

If you want to learn you should work. Nothing comes to you. You have to do some research and then you will learn If you don't have patience then no body can do anything.

checked cpanel FTP DID read it , but there is no information about the FTP settings that i need as posted above, second watched the video also didnt help as the setting i need are STILL NOT THERE as for research , well why make it easy , it took all this to get an admin to show me the settings i need on this forum , not good i dont think ,

these settings
FTP address is: ftp://stoli.x10hosting.com
Username: aardys
Password is whatever you set it to.
were nowhere to be found ,

FTP Accounts allow you to access your web site's files through a protocol called FTP. You will need a third party FTP program to access your files. You can login to a FTP by entering [domain] as your FTP host and the username and password of the account you wish to log into.

* [domain] at this place you see yourdomain name.

If you scroll down
In Account Management

First username is yourcpanel username and in the last there is a "configure FTP client" is there, Did you opened it. Then you can see the settings and configurations too. You can download the settings for 3 different clients.

as i have said a few times now , i use SITEGENWIZ client
all i needed was the server ftp:// and user and password , none of the ones i was given by the cpanel worked , only the ones posed above by admin worked , why was those setting not in the cpanel . anyway as we can now all see it has not been very clear,
so lets leave it at that .
i now have found limeweb that took me 10 mins to set up with no problems , i just thought it would be helpfull for admin to see what it has been like for a total noob to try to use this free hosting ,

I would honestly have no clue. For what I know cPanel does give you such info and even that can be tough to get into when people are new to this kind of hosting. I do try to give answers in the most direct way possible though, even though I'm not an admin. I can see basic account information such as what server you're on, if your account is suspended as well as site domains so that does help me out a bit.

For example, since I know what server you're on and what your account name is, I can view websites even if the domain isn't resolving properly yet (in the case of free domain providers where DNS can be a little slow on the provider's end). For example, here's your hosting account here as a directory listing.
