Hey. I've been having this problem for a while but haven't been able to report it (awaiting a new gfx card).
For some reason I can't use FTP on my account (vbgm.x10hosting.com)

When accessing the shortcut 'www' and the directory 'public_html' I get:
Internal Error, can't find that folder (cPanel's File Manager)
and
550 Can't change directory to /www: Permission denied (SmartFTP)

However I can access any other directory/file (e.g public_ftp and .bash_logout).

Anyone able to sort me out? Reclutador's been helping me but he hasn't replied to my last msg that I sent around a week ago.

Much thanks,
ViperBlade

How are you logging into FTP? It sounds like you're logging in anonymously which would let you see the public_ftp folder but not the others.

Sounds to me like his file permissions have screwed up, even cPanel's file manager is having issues (So its not limited to FTP).

Nope, I'm definately doing it correctly using the right username and password.

EDIT: Just tried logging in anonymously and it failed, so I'm sure that's not the problem.
