FTP won't upload. (Stoli)

I can't upload files on to my site via FTP... It comes up saying:
[R] PASV
[R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (xx,xx,xxx,xxx,xx,xxx)
[R] Opening data connection IP: xx.xx.xxx.xxx PORT: xxxxx
[R] STOR xxxxxx.file
[R] 553 Disk full - please upload later

And I have only used up '59.08 MB' out of '4000 MB' (says my cPanel)

Thats the difference between a quota, and capacity - you are allowed 4000mb of space, however, it doesnt guarentee you that space, it just says you are allowed to use upto that much space - the user disk on stoli is a little full and at this time we are doing our best to make more space on it - but without deleting peoples stuff, it is a difficult task

I have deleted a couple of files on there to see if there would be space then.. but still no luck.

Problem is, much as you clean up some next guy is trying to upload..
