Yes,

Don't use ftp.x10hosting.com, use ftp.yourdomain/subdomain.

Hi Brandon,

Thanks for your answer. I tried ftp.braziounord.x10hosting.com, (last part I understood was my assigned domain) with paulouscan54 username and my password, but the connection still fails. Where can I find the exact domain name, username and password to use, if those were incorrect ?

Hi again,

I was not entering the correct domain name, sorry. It is braziounord.x10.mx. Now I am still rejected on the password. Can I find it somewhere ? Any mail sent containing it I would have missed ?

Hi again,

OK. I got it. I was using the web site username "paulouscan54" under ftp (Filezilla) instead of the username I gave to open the x10 account, which was "agua". Now it works : domainname : braziounord.x10.mx, username agua. Sorry, I did not catch this immediately. I suggest though this FTP first connction for newbies should be described more completely to help them set their web site faster.

Best regards
