when i try deleting some directries it always gives me this error

STATUS PWD skipped. Current folder: "/public_html/lists/admin".
COMMAND RMD plugins
550 plugins: Directory not empty
ERROR Requested action not taken (e.g., file or directory not found, no access).


any ideas

hmm this could be a problem for an admin to look at ...or a more experieced mod ...someone will be here soon

Delete the folder in cPanel.

cPanel --> File Manager --> [go to folder] --> Delete this folder and all files under it

That will at least delete it, but I have no idea how to solve it. If I'm feeling like it, I might do some researching.

The problem is with your FTP client. Go to options and unckeck 'don't delete folders with contents in them' or whatever. It should be pretty close to that.
