Ok, so in a simpler term: What im trying to do is, I have an application, in which im trying to enable the user to access files from the FTP from, however, it wont work because the user needs a log in to the FTP, which would be (I assume) my account information, which for obvious reasons I cannot provide them with it.
Is there possibly a way to "bypass" this, and have them still be able to access(download) the file? Or perhaps an alternative?
In end, what im really trying to do is have the user download a file from my app, but I assumed it would have to be on the internet somewhere secured enough so that only users of this app has access to being able to actually reach the file, then the app will just download the file (of their choice) for them.
EDIT: Wow... Nevermind, the URL I was trying was the secure ftp:// accesspoint, when I didnt realize, I could use the websites unsecured "index of" access point...
