I just wanted to pop in to recommend that nobody buy the Valve Complete Pack right now. If you're thinking about buying it, I would suggest you wait until L4D2 is released, instantly adding another $50 value to the package (and saving you having to buy it separately, if you were going to). If you really feel like waiting, it often goes on sale around Christmas too (it was 25% off last year between Christmas and New Years).

Good tips on the sale part. For as far as I know the VALVe Everything Pack is already coming with Left 4 Dead 2 . I might also want to add, get a fast Internet connection as all of those games will take a while to download otherwise. I have never seen that Complete Pack on DVD disks in retail. I'm thankful I have a fast connection here that has no problem downloading games in under an hour for the most part from Steam.
