how do i now if the hosting server has GD library?????

yes, that's right we have GD 2 i believe, i'm not sure how to check though, but i know that my site uses it and it works fine

Create a file named phpinfo.php, put the following into it

<?php
phpinfo();
?>

And then scroll down its there.
