getting my purchased domain name to work with free hosting

Hosting Package: ad-free

I tried my best to figure out where this question would go, so I'm sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Basically I had a co.cc account for a while, then bought my own domain name at .com. I want to put it on my free hosting, but I can't seem to get it to work. I put in the name servers (ns1.x10hosting.com & ns2.x10hosting.com) on the site I purchased my domain on to redirect, and I changed my domain on my profile page, but my website doesn't seem to have transfered properly. Does x10hosting not support domains not on the drop down list, even though I selected the option that got rid of the end so I could add it myself?

I hope this question made sense.

It should be okay....if you have added the nameservers.-is the change of domain showing in cpanel?
