*****URGENT HIGH PRIORITY*****
So, let me understand my host correctly...
Firstly, I can't get on with anything (nor have I been able to, for 2 days) because I STILL can't log into my cpanel and further more, no one is advising me what is happening about that...i.e. will there be any progress? is anyone working to get it fixed?
However, I just got a rude warning I was spamming, for repeated requests for support to respond and update me.
Secondly, even if I can stick around long enough to actually log in to my cpanel... I am back to square one with my website.
The header banner image file that was missing from the images folder that I uploaded in cpanel for the short stay I had there (before being locked out)... was actually removed by .x10 if I am to believe what I have been told (refer to excerpt, below from a personal email I just received, on this matter)
Now, at this point, I am to ask, would support at .x10 have ever told me any of this?
Now I understand why I haven't been successful on the internet until now! It's ludricous that people can behave this way to one another, i.e. not deliver what they promise and hold up so much of people's time (at their own costs)!!!
Here's that excerpt that I promised to include for your reference:
"1.) You say that the website files are not complete. That is wrong. They are a complete website. One problem that does crop up with x10 hosting is that the header image is taken out of the images folder and placed in the hosting as a separate file. That will not work because the coding is looking for that file in an Images folder.
2.) Sometimes x10 does take several hours to propogate the domain that you chose and that may be the reason for your delay. You can go online and look for a different free Hosting company and upload your files to their hosting if you do not like x10 hosting.
3.) You do not have to purchase anything to make the website files work. I only refer you to tools that will help you with editing your website files but if you strictly want to doi the editing thru Cpanel, that will be free with your hosting.
Hope this cleared up some of the problems. If not or you have others, let me know....We can work together to get you online at no cost."
