Well, Ranking on google is not such a big deal. I am good at seo. So, do this... On page = Good Title, URL, H1, H2, H3 with keywords.

I think their it not such a fix time or period.
But If you collect Good and relevant backlinks then you will get instant high ranking.
For me On page+ Off page= Higher search engine rankings.
