I have tried GIMP when I used the Ubuntu OS.Not bad for a free software, but anyway it can't be compared to Photoshop. Its interface is very complicated, and it doesn't perform good work.So I've turned back to use Photoshop. Why must we use the bad one when we've already had the good one?

I haven't tried the new GIMP but I use 2.0. It works for me, I made a lot of pics and I have like 1,200 brushes.

If I were to download the new one what would happen to all the brushes that I have.

Hmm.. Gimp is okay.. It's nice because it's free and you can do pretty much things with it. But I still use my lovely Photoshop CS3 Extended :)

GIMP can do most of things that Photoshop can do.. but not all.

I like to use GIMP but I am using Photoshop, for only the one feature "Blending Options".

Blending option is the one feature that I missing in GIMP. If this feature will be availabe in GIMP, I will not use Photoshop.
