Got an issue, wasn't sure where to post it and thought I'd post it here (if this is the wrong place, please forgive me. I'd rather beg for forgiveness the beg for permission ).

My site is coming up fine and works as it should, but I can't login to my regular x10hosting account.

I go to log in at http://10xhosting.com/account, and I get the error message below:

An Error Has Occurred
Although you've logged in successfully, there was an error retrieving your account's hosting type from the backend system.

Please post on our forums to seek support on this issue.

I figured my account had been moved because I was able to pull up my site, but I 'm unable to sign in and check my basic account and access the link to Cpanel. Any advise?
Btw, thanks Corey and x10hosting crew for the hard work you all have put in for us free site peeps. I honestly appreciate all you do for us :D

You Rock!

Hi, I can't seem to see where there is a list of what servers you've worked on and what servers you are currently working on. I'm sorry... I'm new to all this terminology.

My site is dawnandderek.x10hosting.com
id - dawna621

I think I'm on the cossacks server - that's what my account panel says.

The error I'm getting is "Unable to connect to server."

Thanks! :)

What is "http://10xhosting.com/account" Isn't it http://x10hosting.com/account? sorry, not to be mean just pointing out an error. There is a general support forum and this thread is not for support, please post here---->http://forums.x10hosting.com/server-move-issues/
Edit: @Garlund - Your cpanel login should be http://yoursite.com:2082 (take note the colon and 2082

This is not a support forum but they are currently working on the last server, cossacks, just hang tight, it should be back within a few.

Thank you, longley, for your quick reply. I still would like to be able to log in at http://x10hosting.com/account. I'm sure once I post my issue at http://forums.x10hosting.com/server-move-issues/ it will be corrected.

I'll do more research in the future and keep my issues to myself. I'll also proof read my post before adding them in the future as well. Thanks

Cossacks should be back online in the next hour as long as there are no surprise issues.

Thanks Longley, Corey. I'm still a lil new at the webmaster stuff. Please forgive me. And thanks again for the reply. Will correct the behavior, and avoid making same mistake in the future.

The move is complete. I have verified Apache is up and running on Cossacks now. I tested some accounts and the DNS has not resolved yet(Still pointing to backup server). DNS can take a few hours to update internally for the from the backup to cossacks.

All users are now able to post issues relating to the server move in this forum:
http://forums.x10hosting.com/server-move-issues/

READ THE STICKY THREADS BEFORE POSTING!!!

Please wait a few hours after this post before creating a thread that your site is down, it is most likely due to DNS propagation, just have to wait it out. I'm re-syncing all the DNS records to the DNS server just to make sure everything is updated on our end.

There will be problems. Expect some problems, there is a lot of server optimization left to be done to get them running 100% smoothly. I would guess by Sunday a lot of stability and most of the server move issues will be resolved. I will be dedicating at least 3 hours each day following today just to dealing with server move issues for members. Please get your threads created and in the http://forums.x10hosting.com/server-move-issues/ forum.

Lastly, I'd really like to thank everyone for their patience during this move, I know it has been hard on a lot of you.

Since there will be no more updates I will close this thread.
