1. Go http://x10hosting.com/signup.php and sign up for an x10hosting account. The system does not show you with one.

2. Sign up with an x10hosting subdomain, like ilovenissans.x10hosting.com

3. Pay attention to each step. Read the TOS.

4. When you set up your x10hosting account, your cPanel username will be different from your forum username. cPanel names can be at most 8 characters. Make sure you enter your correct email.

5. When they ask you to link to a Forum account, do not create a new one. Enter the details for nissannut in the second option

6. Complete application and wait for confirmation email.

7. Once you activate your account, log on to cPanel

8. Find 'Parked Domain', click on it

9. Add your domain from GoDaddy. This way you have two ways of looking at the same content.

10. Go to GoDaddy and sign into your account. Manage Domain. Point DNS to x10hosting's nameservers.

11. It will take awhile for the stale information to be removed from the Internet about your domain. You will see it parked at GoDaddy for awhile 24-48 hrs later, you will see your files at x10hosting.

EDIT/ADD:

Alternative:

Instead of adding your domain as a parked domain, you can change your main domian from ilovenissans.x10hosting.com to your GoDaddy domain by using the Account Panel. That will save you a parked domain, in case you buy more domains and want them to share the site.

Yes that is if you don't want to have this as your default address, want it to go to a specific page I.E your forums instead of your home page or want to keep your x10 subdomain.
Here is was descalzo meant at the end of his post. Instead of adding it as a parked domain you can go to the x10 account panel and change main your domain by doing this.

1. go to http://x10hosting.com/login.php
2. login
3. click modify account on the right side of the screen.
4. uncheck use subdomain above main account domain.
5. type your domain name with out the www and with the .com,.net, .org ect.
6. click save changes below the text boxes with your information.
7. change your godaddy nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

Otherwise do as descalzo said to keep your current x10 subdomain and have your godaddy domain go to where ever in your site you want it to.
