Good Free Program?

Hey,
Do you guys know any good free programs that can make pictures such as swords/human faces etc etc?

Do you mean like a paint program? 3D program? Clipart collection?...

I use a Windows XP machine. I like Paint.net (http://www.getpaint.net/) as a free Photoshop-type software, Art of Illusion for 3D (http://www.artofillusion.org/), and Stock Exchange (http://www.sxc.hu) for free clipart/stock photos. (Note that all of the stock photos are entirely free, but some of them require permission from the artist before you use it.)

For a Photoshopesque program, I use GIMP, and for 3D models there is a program called Blender (I dled and installed it once, just never got around to reading the tuts and using it)

gotta be gimp for photo editing and blender for 3d i like using both these programs easy and fun to use and the best reason is that they don't cost me a penny but are still good qaluity and decent programs

Blender is a nice program to use for creating textures. GIMP is a great program for editing and creating things and works just like Photoshop.
