Google Analytics / AWstats

I see a lot of people complain about AWstats not being available. What is so great about AWstats? I've always loved Google Analytics.

Well, AWStats is Server Side, so for those who don't like 3rd parties getting into site statistic monitoring, that's why they'd complain. There's nothing wrong with Google Analytics at all.

I personally don't like AWstats at all. If that was the only statistics program, I wouldn't be interested at all.

I had difficulty integrating Google Analytics into my blog, so I had to find a plug-in to do it for me. I guess people just don't like having to set it up, while AWStats works automatically.

What blog software do you use? I just added it to the header of the template in wordpress and it works fine .

Yea, I use Wordpress too.

I think I was extremely sleepy when I tried doing it, because I started going back to all my posts and pasting the code into each blog post.
