Google, Yahoo, MSN Search and the Government

I don't think the Gov't has any rights to search results, now I know I am in Canada and this doens't pertain (right word/word??) to me as much as those of you in US, but if they want results why don't they do it themselves the good old fashioned way?? You know like search on google, and record the results. Or are they just too damn lazy??
