Graphic Tablet

I recently purchased a Wacom Graphire 4, I am going to school for Graphic Design, I really love that it is very sensitive and is of good construction and design. I have read that most Graphic Artists use the Wacom Intuos 3, which is a bit more expensive....will I need to upgrade when I finish school? I have no problem doing so but would like some suggestions. Thank you.

Although that yes most "top-notch" designers use the Intuos I don't think its necassary to upgrade. I use the Graphire 4 as well and find it gets the job done very well. I would upgrade eventually yes, but its not something absolutly necassary. Other options: I honestly don't know of many others that are of better value.

I bought a Graphire 3 2 months ago on sale casue its an older model. But it works beautifully...really why upgrade? Ive used a old old old graphire at school and its just as good as mine. They really do last a while!
