I installed Sabayon Linux on a new partition on my laptop the other day(sda3). Well, on the start up of my laptop, I can select the windows OS to boot, but this is where I receive an error and windows simply will not boot.
Of course the windows installation and partition is fine, but for some reason it seems that particular version of GRUB couldn't boot it.
I had to use the super grub disc to restore the windows bootloader but I still have Sabayon on there and would like to be able to continue to use it as well as Vista.
So.... Is there just something I didn't hear about where Vista just can't be booted from the GRUB menu? Could it have just been an older version of GRUB that couldn't boot it? Although, my Sabyon installation is the latest version which was made well after Vista's release....
My thoughts now are get the latest super grub disc and see if i can install GRUB from there and hope it will boot all my OSes with no problem.
