guestbook cgi script

Hello all,

I'm trying to install a guestbook script that I found on this page: http://articles.techrepublic.com.com/5100-22_11-5076796.html. I customized the "$guestbookreal" and "$return" values, and I uploaded the whole thing on CPanel (I'm assuming everything on CPanel is automatically uploaded in ASCII mode?)

However, now I keep on getting a 500 internal server error. What is that all about?

Be sure to set the permissions correctly on guestbook.html and guestbook.cgi
Try CHMOD 644 or try 755.

its not your script its from the other side im getting the same thing
