Gzip compression

Hello,
I'm using x10hosting from October 2015. Everything was working fine; but recently, I checked my website in google pagespeed and it asked me to use Gzip compression. I already have gzip code in my htaccess file and it was working fine before. I also read somewhere that gzip is already enabled on x10hosting servers. I think my site is on "xo2" server. Can anybody help me in this issue?

Can anyone please confirm gzip compression status on x10hosting servers?
Is it enabled by default, or we have to enable via htaccess, or its not available at all on free hosting?

my site (account) on x10hosting's free-hosting server [ xo3 ] - is NOT sending out compressed (gzip) data
