habilitar funcion gettext

estoy intentando instalar "gallery 2.2" y me dice que la función gettext no esta habilitada, seria posible habilitarla o tendria que pedir el plan 3 del php? Gracias

Si no está habilitada, pide el plan 3, debería de funcionar.

he reabierto el tema porque pedi el plan 3 y me fue denegado por lo siguiente

Your application for PHP v2 was denied. The reason stated is -"Stick with version 2. We\'ll work with you on the forums to get Gallery2 working with v2. We just need someone to post about it and help us understand what isn\'t working."

Necesitaria esta función para poder usar la capacidad de traducción que trae el propio script (Gallery2) y la finción exec() para poder instalar los plugins. No son vitales pero si necesarias en cierto modo...
