Ok, so today I notice that my disk space usage jumped about 50mb, then, I accidentally typed in the wrong domain, one of my subdomains.

I have 3 domains alltogether. I typed in forum.ke7dux.com (which is NOT one of my subdomains) and some guy has his contact info posted there! What's up with that?

I had my domain unlocked for about 15 minutes earlier today, Could that have done it? or is it possible for people to use/register my subdomains?

No one can use your subdomains, it looks like some on has hacked into your account, if you have used a sahred computer i.e. public libary then it could have save the website address's tat you have accessed in history also autocomplete in i.e explorercoul have saved your passwords, there are many way a hacker could have hacked into our site, firstly to get rid of this hacker change all our passwords to your site, then after that delete any items that have been recently uploaded that are not yours, remember to take down the information o the guy that he posted (stupid fool) and report x10, either post in the abuse section or post a support ticket at:

Ok first, hackers do not break into things. Please do not confuse a hacker with a cracker there is a huge difference. Second, I'm sure if x10 servers had experienced some sort of security breech they would have informed us.

Im sure its nothing to worry about, just look around make sure you haven't accidentally copied files or something like that. However, if you experience more suspicious behaviour you should contact an admin as it is as unlikely as it is, its diffidently possible that a malicious user has accessed the server. If that was the case, he/she would have control of the entire server and not just your site. Since nobody else is reporting issues I'm guessing that there is no cracker in the system.

Good luck, if you need more help just post back.
Merry Christmas :)

ke7dux is my Ham radio callsign. Actually, VE is Canadian, not KE. I'm in Portland, Oregon.

Yeah, I contacted support, apparently someone got into my domain Registrar and created an A - file, I changed all my passwords and such and the subdomain is now just bringing up a server page (like it was before).

Yeah, I'm really enjoying X10's services. Once I get outta school and get a job, I'm going to support their services further by getting a paid package for sure!

Well thats not good. You may have to consider the possibility that its the computer you are sitting on that is compromised. I suggest doing a full anti-virus scan as soon as possible.

Good luck :)

The domain, www.ke7dux, is mine. However, I did not create the sub-domain forum.ke7dux.com that appeared recently. So, anyway, It's back to normal and I changed my passwords (and my computer runs a virus scan every morning at 1).

Anyway, TNX for the help and Merry Christmas!!!
