Happy Easter! Jesus is risen, death is defeated, my sins are forgiven, my bonds are loosed, and life is glorious regardless of my outward circumstances. Before I knew the power of His resurrection and forgiveness I was in bondage to drugs, alcohol, tobacco and sexual sins (not in that order.) My life was going nowhere fast. But one January night in 1985, in a small Army chapel on Camp Hovey, Korea, I realized the power of the love and forgiveness of the resurrected Lord, I was delivered from that bondage and have never turned back. Do I know everything? No. Can I answer all the questions of science and faith? No. Can I testify to the living Christ, risen in my heart? Absolutely. Can you?
