Has anyone tried Alien Assault Traders?

For some dumb reason, I can't figure out how to get the installation to complete (connect to the mySQL database, specifically) with getting errors. I was digging the BlackNova Traders game but the interface was incredibly clunky and then the resources issue came with my multiple suspensions. Tired of getting taken down for using the provided tools so I moved on and found this game. It's pretty good, but I can't get it to install on my side.
Can someone give a hand and help me work through this?

When I create the database and user in my cPanel and apply those variables it will not allow me to connect.
DB: gameblip_aat
UID: gameblip_gbaat
mySQL database host: mysql-stoli.x10hosting.com

Is any of that stuff wrong? Should I be using localhost for the database host?

Just tried it again just to be sure... It still gives the same "Unable to connect to the database" error.

make sure your user is added to database and have sufficient privigies.

also make sure you are using localhost as a HOST and your password is correct

K, i changed host to localhost and the password is verified.
Still cannot connect.
