Have any of you experienced a hurricane

Wel right now my country ,trinidad and tobago, is under a storm watch.well it not new around these parts but their might be others that have experienced a hurricane.I have never experinced that because the island I live is normally south of th hurricanes normal path..(But somtimes it changes) with goes upwards pass cuba towards Florida.

Before I moved I lived in louisiana. We had a lot of hurricanes there. They all ways came through the Golf of Mexico and nailed us pretty hard.
Had a lot of floods.
But now I live in Virginia and not many hurricanes come through here.

Yes Hurricane Charlie came across here last year, No damage but alot of floods/heavy raining.

Well Emily has passed and heading towards tthe othe caribbena islands.
We hardly experinced serious damage except fo flash floods
