Having a problem with cPanel login..

Domain is oldmantroops.x10hosting.com and the nae i used is not the same as the forum, it is 'Oldmanrn'.
I get the error message when trying to link my account that the Cpanel email needs to be added. However, I try to log into cpanel, using www.oldmantroops.x10hosting.com:2082 I get the cPanel login screen, but it won't accept either my forum name/pw or my account name/pw, with caps being correct.

Yes, got to the main cPanel. Now configuring it. Thanks!
Edit:
Well, after about 5 mins of snooping around and looking at things, and trying out making a couple of directories, I got booted out of cPanel, and can not log back in. I set my e-mail just a few minutes before that through cPanel, so maybe that's the reason.

Still no-go on the linking part. When I log into the x10hosting.com/login I log in, it recognizes me, but stops on the link page, and won't link. I can, however, get right in to cpanel. I changed the e-mail in cpanel, as I did have it the same as here on the forums. I'll wait awhile for updating and see. Heading off now to change my pw on the main x10hosting page.
Edit:
Well, same problem.. log in to x10hosting.com, and nowhere is there a place to change your PW on that page. I go ahead and log in, it goes right to the 'Link account' page, and no other options.
