Hi there I have several questions after having a good experience with X10:

1. I want to buy (or get for free if possible) a domain (such as www.domainname.com) and host it in X10; but I do not want the domain to be a subdomain of X10 such as omarsalgado.x10hosting.com but my own recently adquired domain. How can I buy or get a domain? How can I host it in X10 with my own personal name?

2. If a buy or get a domain can I get email addresses? such as omar.salgado@domainname.com? how many accounts could I have?

3. How can I used a secure server (https?) if I want to make customers to pay for services or products?

Thanks for your help

Corey

1.) You can buy a domain from places such as godaddy. Once you buy it and point it to x10 you can change from your subdomain to the domain you got.

2.) Yes, you can get Email addresses, this is limited depending what package you have. In your cPanel it should say something like Email: 0/10 That is how many you have.

3.) We do not support SSL on the free hosting accounts, you would have to upgrade to paid and purchase your own dedicated IP along with an SSL certificate.

The static paid has unlimited email accounts.
I'm not sure about the IP.

For a ssl certificate, just search google for "SSL certificate". You'll find a bunch of companies that sell them.
