having problems logging into x10 web pages

ok this problem is really puzzling me guys and would love your opinions

a couple of days ago my home computer started to block my access to x10 and ascociated pages

through my web browsers both i.e and firefox

i still cant view my web sites i have through my web browser as i keep getting time out , failure to load page

ive even tried to ping the site through cmd prompt ping and i get all packets lost 100% lost and timed out

conection.

i need to say there isnt nothing blocking these pages that is evident to me i.e firewall and the like

all other websites i visit are fine apart from the ones hosted by x10?

also i changed my lan to one that runs through a proxy server and i.e conected first time ?

i could see my web site strate away ? why am i not able to conect strate through my browser?without a proxy?

ive also done all the dns flush and checked all the files are working and in the right place and all seems well?

am i missing a setting somewhere that could be blocking access to just this single site ?

ive also found that today without running my conection through a web proxy i can only get to my log in page where the info is but get a timed out when i try to log into control panel?

any info would be much appreciated !

similar problem to me everyone seems to be able to see my site apart from me and i can connect to just about any website on the net apart from my own i have created thread after thread pleading for help then today a member sent me a link to hide my IP and my website loaded without problem so its either the server blocking my IP or a issue with my ISP I'm on the starka server

yeah no problem here it is http://www.hidemyass.com/ i have no problem viewing my site through this website I'm sure its a problem with the starka server firewall for me but its yet to be proved
just delete the youtube url and put your site address in and hit hide my ass and up will pop you wewbsite

Since yesterday I am also experiencing the problem that Phoenix2010 explained in the first post. The day before that I uploaded alot of files for my website.
I cannot acces my page frontend, backend (Cpanel - The server at marto.x10hosting.com is taking too long to respond.), webmail and ftp.

When i tried to change my IP Adres (using the trail version of Hide My IP) I got acces to my page frontend. But the rest still fails.

Is there a solution for this? (I'm on the Stoli server)

im not sure if or where i can escalate my problem to but i would certainly like to find out if there is some kind of block on my girlfriends static i.p address maybe through the lotus server?

im just wondering if it might be a good idea to actualy send an official support question to the

tech admins on the site to ask them if theres something we seem to both be missing?

i have just found out that this is the exact problem i am having with starka server it seems to limit my access then blocks my IP i have already had it unblocked but its blocked again within 10 minutes

also im having a total nightmare on lotus tonite?

tried to log in 3 times and getting 404 errors and when it is up taking an absolute age to load pages !

since the server migration ive not seen much along the lines of improvement.

ok i know the service is free but we should at least be able to log in and be also able to administate our sites?

ive had time outs for a few weeks now on and off but seem to be getting worse!

maybe its time to escalate the problem i have with the admins and see if they can sort it !

i did seem to follow a kind of pattern were i could view my site and work on it for up to 10 minutes then it would be down for up to a hour then back up again for 10 minutes but now it was down since yesterday till they unblocked my IP then 10 minutes later its back down again for how long i don't know

there definatley seems to be some reliability issues since the migration and i hope the guys are working

very hard to fix stuff ?

i had to wait until after 11pm last nite to add a flash banner to one of the pages ?

i will be sending a support question regarding this issue to the site admin to get them to check if the ip has

been blocked by the lotus firewall?
