Having Trouble Registering for free Hosting

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how do I fix it? Here is my deliemma. I went to sign up for free hosting. I chose a name for site and it was available. I went on to 2. I chose a username and it was available.I went on to 3. I accepted the terms and it said register a forum name. I tried to use my existing name and it said already in use. I ended up going and registering a different forum name then the one I was trying to create the free web hosting with and now I feel like it didn't work and not sure how to proceed. What should I do?

When it says the name is in use it is referring to the cPanel name you chose.

What you should do is go here: http://x10hosting.com/logout and then try the sign-up process again with a different cPanel name.
