Heard a lot about x10

Hi guys I am a complete newbie but x10 is the best. Would appreciate some help with my site. I want to create a site with reports from compete, alexa, quantcast etc which can help us track what sites are buzzing. I would also like to know about any blogs which cover the same topics so that to start off I can provide links to these resources. Something along the lines of

http://blog.compete.com/topics/compete-top-10/

http://www.technorati.com/pop/blogs/

and so on. Hope things work out. Any suggestions on what scripts I can use.

Thanks Sohail, it is good to be part of a professional setup. I am a complete newbie. I have installed a template (nightvision) through file manager and coppermine through fantastico.

Thanks X10, I am completely satisfied with the hosting. I just completed my first full site backup. It took no time at all and the download to local PC was fast. I confirmed the hash sent by the notification email.

The only problem I had was with the wordpress version 2.3.1 being out of date. I uploaded 2.3.3 via ftp. There was no problem whatsoever. I was thinking that I would need to export and import the posts and links http://amolpatil2k.x10hosting.com/blog/wp-links-opml.php but the new installation used the existing mySQL table magscans_wrdp1 and worked out of the box.

Have you notice the presentation section in Dashboard of WordPress 2.3.1 does not include custom header image so I came up with my own solution. Check out my header at http://amolpatil2k.x10hosting.com/blog/

I found that the default header image is present in wp-content/themes/default/images and is called kubrickheader.jpg

I downloaded this image and added my banner to it, then I uploaded this back. In Dashboard presentation tab - header image and color, click on revert and on toggle text display in Advanced. It worked for me. Maybe it may work for you guys too.

I know there must be better solutions but I didn't have the patience to search for them.
