Figured that I should say hi and introduce myself.
I'm Anna from Sweden, currently a student at UNI (or rather what would probably be the Swedish equivalent) I study mainly programming, this period I study SQL (school uses Oracle in labs so will probably learn some oracle specific things as well as SQL in general) and a course they call "Object oriented and component based programming"
I use my hosting account for a forum dedicated to a specific alliance in the browser game Travian, it is only open to their members (well we got a few guest members but they only see a limited portion)
I was thinking about putting my private site up as well, unfortunately since Swedish is not allowed that would be a bad idea, forum allows both languages for posting, but on the other hand, with the lack of activity I don't need a host for it
I did manage to set up a web server with php and mySQL on my computer and that will do just fine for that part for now.
Apart from trying to learn, both in school and more privately (php by trial and error method) I like to cook, bake and I read a "few" books a year, on a day where I got nothing else to do I can easily read a book on a single day, unless the book is unusually thick.
Mainly read books with a bit of romance in them, but an occasional detective story get read sometimes.
On my private site I have a blog, where I write about what I feel like for the moment, but I do not in any way write regular. I put up recipes I created by experimenting in kitchen, sometimes I say my opinion about a book, movie or a cd that was released. I write the blog in English since I have some international friends I've met through various Internet based activities
