Welcome aboard! Your posting went up okay, but the forum has been a little flakey lately. The background POST request works, but the page isn't always updated; it looks like the XMLHttpRequest is timing out before the server responds with a 200. That's caused a lot of duplicate posts and so on for the past three or four days.
