here is some help:

launch dw, click "SITE", manage sites, add new site, click advanced tab, fill in your information, connect via file/asset panel. Presto... its really not hard.

To connect, your FTP host needs to be your x10 location example: kdev.x10hosting.com (not real) and username and pass accordingly.
