I have a simple site that I have made to stay in touch with friends and families.
I have looked through the tutorials and faqs but can't find the answers to a couple of questions.
First, I used to be able to see my usage stats in the control panel under ADWAR (or something like that). Since the control panel has changed, I can't seem to find that info.

Second, I'd like to get my URL cleaned up:
www.grantscreekviews.exofire.net/Site/Welcome.html

Can anybody help me please or direct me where to find simple instructions?
Thanks

I'm sorry I wasn't clear about what I meant. I would like my URL to just be www.grantscreekviews.exofire.net but that takes me to the index page instead of my welcome page. I read the tutorial but I'm not understanding it. Do I delete the index page, do I change the name of my welcome page, do I change the order it is listed in, or something else??
All suggestions and help are very appreciated. Thanks
Edit:
Yes I meant AWSTATS. Thanks for the thread link, that has been helpful.

you could try adding

DirectoryIndex /Site/Welcome.html index.html

To your .htaccess file in your /public_html directory
You should also have an index.html in that directory as a back up.

PS: you can drop the www part if you want to, the link should get to your site.

Thank you but there doesn't seem to be an .htaccess file in the /public_html directory.
Should there be one?

If there isn't an .htaccess file in your directory yet, you can create one yourself. Create a new document in notepad, type in the line mentioned above, and save it as .htaccess (make sure there's no .txt or other extension on the end) and then upload it to your site. Another option is to rename your welcome.html file to index.html and move it to the public_html folder so that it replaces the default index.html
