Help for IPB board

First off, please excuse me if this sounds completely ridiculous as i am totally new to web hosting.

I would like to host an IPB board, but im not sure how to add the ipb board files. I know i can upload them using FTP, but it seems i can upload only a single file instead of the total folder.

I am wondering if i can get some basic help how to set it up.

You'd need to download the IPB files to your computer then using an FTP editor and logging in to your site's FTP and uploading the whole lot. I don't see why you're unable to upload all your files at the same time rather than one at a time - that doesn't sound right?!

Are you using an FTP editor?

you can zip the entire folder (I'm pretty sure that you can download it zipped) then upload it using ftp or cpanel, then in cpanel->file manager you can select the file and choose to unzip it.

Ah i see, I unzipped it outside so i didnt see how i can upload all the files.
