Go to cPanel, there is an option "Softaculous" Click on it.

There you can easily install mybb forums

Download the forum package. Unzip it. Upload all the files to your public_html (keeping the same folder structure) by using an FTP manager or cPanel File Manager.

Then follow the installation instructions documented here: http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Installer

Alternatively, you can use Fantastico or Softaculous (in cPanel) to install it without any uploading.
