Help installing a mediawiki

If I set up my own server like my site, and install it there, and then copy all the stuff over, will that work?

Yes that would work

I think something needs to be done about this, cause many users have tried putting a media wiki on (including me)

I hope they are getting on with sorting it to be on the cpanel so we can all install it easier.
