[Help] Joomla from FTP

How do i get the files i up thru FileZilla onto the FTP Area onto my ACTUAL Website ?

If You admin the site.. Please Try for yourself or just see what m on about

Open the public_html folder, delete the current index.html in there and upload your files.

Anything visible to the public must be in public_html

Yeah. Upload your files through your FTP client into the public_html directory.

FileZilla wont work lke that.. it doesnt just 'upload' into public_html it makes joomla a folder instead



Ive tyed Compresing to .Zip.. then uploading. More Detials soon

For that error, you need to upgrade your PHP level to Intermediate. You can do this by logging into your AMP ( Account Management Panel ) www.x10hosting.com/account with your forum name / password and upgrading there.

Once you get the e-mail / message saying you have been approved, it can take 6-12 hrs before the upgrade actually happens.

Check your configuration settings.
The database host should be: localhost, then you've to check if your database, db user and password are set correctly on both cPanel and your configuration file.
