help me start a forums in my account...

So to take things step by step can anyone help me start out? as of now I just want to start a forums but don't know how.

You will need to decide what type of forum software you want to use, The most common free ones are phpBB, SMF, and myBB. If you need a step by step tutorial, I would search on Google.
