I am making my new site and i want to insert images in it.. you can say that i want to make small gallery. I want the picturs go farward and back in one click only... Just like the pictures on facebook

:dunno: lightbox2 is the best there is for what you need. I don't understand what you at all. diabolo sent a great link full of interesting stuff too.

I think that "lightbox" , "lytebox" and "lyteshow" are the best ...."piclens" is also cool... see demo here:

You know, I'm actually in need of the same thing. I have done a lot of research, the only thing that came close was a PHP class that was in PHP3 or 4, don't remember. So I'm building my own in CodeIgniter and jQuery just for the heck of it.

But here's something very lightweight for the PHP backend: http://www.solitude.dk/gallerythingie/

You just have to customize the front-end part on your own using javascripts.
