Well, I guess its better that I adjust with PhpMyAdmin... Not much of a problem anyways. Instead of getting the results in 2 seconds i'll get in 5 seconds... :) Thanks a lot for the patience in helping me out...

I can't think of a way to do it unless your IP stays static or atleast does not change often. Let me know if you have any other thoughts.

in the cpanel for the Remote Database Access Hosts list, he can add hostname not only IP address, isn't he?

Then he should register a dynamic dns at no-ip.org, then install the client, wich automaticly update his ip to the database.
For example the home.ironiq.hu host always pointing to my router at my home, so I dont have to trouble with the dynamic IP-s.

Option 2:
The dynamic ip-s usually taken from a static pool, so the first 2 byte should be static, and you could add a rule, like this:
81.182.%.%
Sechole: Everybody from your ISP are able to connect.

However even adding a small range of IP's can be dangerous.

And our firewall which is separate from cPanels remote access host may not allow hostnames to be entered into its allow list (i'm not sure which firewall we use probably iptables)

So only static IP addresses without wildcards can be used for the remote access?

Yeah, the security steps on this host will not allow any other possibility. I see its a way to stop hackers probably...

That is correct; we only do it for the safety of everyone on the server ;)

Closing this out since the question was answered.
