Help With Domain Purchase

Hello there, Calvin Vandermeer here.
The reason why I created this thread is because I am interested in purchasing a new domain for my site. I already have a hosting account with you (Which I am extremely pleased with, by the way) and my current domain is www.cvandermeer.x10hosting.com. If I were to purchase a domain, could I get it here or would I have to get it from another site like godaddy.com? Also, would I be able to switch my hosting account to the new domain or would I need to get my account cancelled and set up a new one? Obviously the amount of effort the change would require will influence my decision. Please let me know,

You can purchase domains here. You can also set it as the domain for your hosting account. You do not and will not need to delete your account if you did purchase one.

Just to clarify, x10 does not sell domains. Although we do offer through credit purchase ( 9000 x10 credits ) we are not a domain registrar.
You would have to purchase the domain through a registered agent ( enom, godaddy, etc ) and point the nameservers to x10 ( ns1.x10hosting.com / ns2.x10hosting.com )

You can use your same account, and either Park the domain ( using it as your main address ) or use it as an add-on ( separate from the domain you have now )
